Please join the RMHN Board in congratulating all of the teams who attended the 2024 seminar and challenge. Competing teams included Boulder Police, Broomfield Police, Colorado Department of Corrections, Laramie County (WY), Larimer County, Thornton/Northglenn, West Metro SWAT, and Westminster Police Crisis Negotiation Teams.
Crisis Systems Management (CSM) was a great partner throughout this process. CSM’s flexibility, professionalism, and passion were evident throughout the process.
All teams displayed professionalism, dedication, and diligence during the competition.At the conclusion of the competition, the results were very close, and as a group, our region performed above average. During the scoring portion of the competition, there was an oversight, which led to a scoring error for one of the participating teams. This error led to the West Metro SWAT Negotiations Team to be incorrectly omitted from the podium.
In light of this new information, the RMHN Board has decided to follow the reccomendation of CSM, an entity that is involved in numerous competitions each year. The final result of the scoring is as follows:
